I'm currently in the middle of helping to verify and fix everything at
SlackBuilds.org for the new rev of Slackware that's just out, and can
explain / demo what's involved in that if anybody is bothered?  It's
basically days and days of building from source on a homebrew build
cluster, fixing stuff with git, coffee, swearing and loud aggressive
music.
