Sorry! I'd forgotten the difference. I'm very familiar with both... But
having said that can't stand either!! EDIT is (of course) the QBasic =
editor
not the Quick Basic one.


By the way, I am now getting two copies of mail from yourself... This =
cannot
be normal?

Don't confuse QBasic with Quick Basic!. The former is a BASIC =20
interpreter and the latter a (sort of) compiler with far greater=20
capablilities. I still have and use Quick Basic v4.5 (DOS software=20
development for others).  It does have quirks, but is nevertherless good =

for DOS apps.
