In all fairness, there haven't been any requests for help -- the first
message I've seen of that type was your KDE 3 queries yesterday, and two
people replied within minutes -- that's pretty good support! But unless
the newer Linux users on the list start asking questions and looking for
help, the discussion is inevitably going to stray.

Well, the pedant in me concentrates on the word "user" -- perhaps the main
goal isn't to be a support channel but a general group for those who use
Linux alreay and want to help others, and discuss all aspects of Linux
(distros, politics, techie stuff etc.). I don't know; I'm just here to
have a good crack, talk about Linux and help where I can!

I hope you don't leave Ken, esp. as this seems to be a nice varied group
and with lots of potential and despite the odd argument there have been
plenty of tutorial suggestions for the LUG, help provided when people ask,
and good general banter. Personally, I think we should carefully organise
one more meeting, with presentations and tutorials prepared in advance,
and the opportunity for anyone to get help on a particular subject, and
take it from there.
