My brief experience of wargaming (and my occasional forays into Games
Workshop) has given me the impression that a) no-one fully understands the
rules (except for the one scary kid who knows *everything*) and b) more
time is spent arguing about the interpretation of the rules than actual
gaming.

Because of this, I prefer RPGs to Wargaming, and the computer based ones
to the pen-and-paper (anyone who has played Neverwinter Nights will
understand this). Admittedly the preference for computer based RPGs is due
to the lack of a decent RPG group anymore.

When I do get involved with wargaming, it's generally of the simpler
variety (Space Hulk being my favourite).

Cheers,
