I've just got some more information about using the facilities of the Applied
Computing dept. Although the dept is receptive to the idea there is one thing
we do lack... a member of staff. If we are going to use the lecture theatre
we have to have a member of computing dept staff as a member. This is purely
for security reasons, which is fair enough. If I can get a member of staff
roped in we will have a free venue for monthly meetings.

I've sent out a request on the dept mailing list for any interested parties but
we shall have to wait and see :(
