Hi Jen, read a article in Linux Format  (LFX100)  p16 regarding  Curry's misleading customers that only MS os can be used on the computers it sells. Otherwise warranty is void......this is total rubbish as the guy who sent in the letter said and i agree. He contacted Curry's customer services who told him that the staff at the shop must have been told by MS that only genuine MS os can be used on the computers!

Can you let me know the make of your laptop

Hai guys,

I thought i'd share with you my woes! my (relativley) new laptop has a hardware problem (covered by warranty - so they can deal with it) and I have to send it away! So not only do i have to be without a laptop for a while, I also have to uninstall any trace of its linux minty-ness, because installing an operating system is a 
'Void of Warranty' !!
