Hi Mirek,

That's an interesting project. It might just work though I'm sure you
realise that you'd probably only be able to view it at quite a low
resolution due to the bandwidth involved. My first suggestion would be
VLC. This is both a client and server package. I haven't used it much
myself so I can't give you any details but I think this is your best
bet.

I recently started watching satellite TV through a DVB-S card using
MythTV. It's really awesome! :D I'm still having some teething
problems since MythTV can be quite tricky to get working properly, even
for a very experienced Gentoo user. It's worth it in the end though.

I'm afraid there currently aren't any exceptions to the TV licensing
thing. I don't have a problem with paying for some of the stuff I do
watch but also having to pay for stuff I don't watch or listen to, such
as any of the BBC's radio stations, is rather irritating. The system
needs an urgent reform.

Good luck,
James
