I don't have a problem with bottom posting on Android. Sure,
it's more effort as the default is top posting (and I do sometimes forget
to do it) , but it's definitely do-able.

The problem I have with Android is


a.) It's manual I can't set it to do this automagically 

b.) Quoted text
is in block without > prefixing 

Are you saying that you do all of that
manually ? 

Frankly, I don't have time for that 

Secondly, If I am to be
publicly berated for failing to quote my replies correctly, then I'd rather
deploy my valuable time and resources elsewhere. 

Perhaps, there is an
alternative email client on Android that you recommend ?
