I'm sorry for the long delay in replies.

We continued researching the issue and did find cases where we inserted
special characters into the plain-text portion of emails. While this seems to
not cause problems with most servers, it was failing if the 8bitmime setting
is enabled in Postfix. We went ahead and corrected that issue with our latest
release this week, so emails should deliver as expected going forward. If not,
please let me know and we'll investigate further.
