Are we a "User Group" or a "Pressure Group"?

LUGOG was set up to be a user group... there was no requirement for members
to be evangelists or anything...

I do not believe that it is the group's mission statement to "convert"
those from other operating systems, merely to provide a place where those
who are using LINUX (if that's, even, possible to define these days - is
Ubuntu LINUX in the strictest sense, though it uses the kernal?) can find
kindred spirits and solve problems together.
