Oh, no flame-bait there at all, no sir.

Some distributions differ profoundly in philosophy to others.  The fact
that you've run into a wall may simply means that this one hasn't
clicked for you yet or that it just isn't suited to you.  A community
the size of the Debian project doesn't survive simply as a giant
conspiracy to fool you into wasting your time.

I know people who spit blood if Fedora Core is mentioned.  Maybe they
have the same problem coming the other way.
