[Gllug] More ISP 'choice': Bulldog LLU unable to give MAC codes

Thanks to all who responded:
1 transfering from/between LLUs is still not a fair and competitive action
2 the industry regulator has omitted to attend to it
3 Bulldog give a firm impression of not knowing what they are doing
4 the surveys place Bulldog (almost) at the bottom deservedly

My review of alternate ISPs compared with my requirements (quite basic
I'm told) is down to a short-list of two.
1 offers the convenience of LLU - or should I be more wary this time???
2 built upon BT, who are not the most responsive of organisations either

On the caveat emptor, it is intriguing that in these days of
web-signups it can still be very difficult to find out 'the small
print', eg periods of notice, disconnect fees (and procedures!).

You can be "once bitten" but it's definitely not easy to be "twice
shy"! (and who wants to be chopping and changing suppliers all the
time - or is this the (only) way to achieve nirvana?)
Regards,
=dn
