Hi LUG list members

This sounds like a great event and imitative.

Unfortunately this falls on a key anniversary that I am in no way able to
avoid.........:-)

Good luck.

FYI

Folly has now closed its doors to the public.

We are planning to build 2 working labs with switchable drives so we can
host either Linux or yes I'm afraid Windows applications. There will also be
a set of MAC laptops.

One of these will be mobile with a van - the other will have a base
hopefully in Barrow to begin with.

We will shortly be advertising for a Technical Manager and are approaching a
number of grant funds to get things moving.

Our closing party event will be 23rd September to which you are all invited
- see www.folly.co.uk for details

We will also be offering a number of items at a low price / or donation at
our closing Shop during the afternoon of the 23rd.

All other redundant stock will be offered to Furniture Matters for recycling
etc.

If there is anything in this area that you know we have that you think would
be useful for LUG development please let me know ASAP.

Best wishes

Taylor
