Does that mean that my old 800MHz Thinkpad T21 will become 
collectable?    ;-)

Unlike many recent laptops, it has a built-in modem (or rather a 
winmodem, but it does work under Linux), USB2 and fast ethernet ports, 
plus  PCMCIA slots. Apart from maybe a bit more speed, what more do I need.
