Hi,

There are problems with one of the disks in the lug.org.uk server
which is causing instability of the whole machine.  The disk has
been failed out of the RAID since Sunday in an attempt to keep the
server going, so obviously replacement is a high priority.

Therefore I will be going to the datacentre to replace the disk with
a new one, tomorrow, Wednesday 21st June.  All lug.org.uk services
will be unavailable froma round 7pm BST for hopefully less than two
hours.  You may wish to pass this on to your LUGs.

If the problem is with the disk, all well and good.  If it is with
the disk controller then a new motherboard will be required and
there will be another scheduled downtime in a few weeks.
