I agree that we *should* be giving GNU the credit that they deserve, however, I do not believe that the way Richard Stallman is acting is at all appropriate, may I point this out as an example:

He states that if you wish to save the fee associated with 'Linux' then calling the system 'GNU' is acceptable, therefore stealing all the thunder where Linus should have some.
