Thanks David, I have tried loads of distos including mandrake/move, suse and ubuntu with varying levels of success.
As you can see from my signature i have almost mastered the inferior microsoft stuff but would like to help people to get into using linux.
I have a long list of things I want to learn about linux in particular I would like to be able to use linux to fix computers with viruses (mostly windows OS!). But I would like to be able to confidently set up small networks with all the attached hardware and install other Apps. Also setting up a server.
I would also welcome any work where I could work and learn how to use linux!
Can you recommend any courses locally?

 Tony

Hello Anthony,

The next meeting is a week today on the 23rd, at Blue Fountain (7th Floor
India Buildings). I'll post an "agenda" in a couple of days with a few
points I would like to cover, if you'd like to discuss anything just let me
know.

Feel free to bring your laptop, out of interest what distro are you using?
