[Liverpool] Hello

Hi,

I'm Michael and I'm a Free Software Enthusiast (FSE).

There I said it. Anyway, I'm an itinerant IT freelancer working for a
while in Skelmersdale and living on a campsite near Ormskirk. I think
Liverpool is my nearest LUG. I thought it would be good to meet some
local FSEs and see what you're up to. I'm 35 and Scottish.

I've been using GNU/Linux exclusively for about 9 or 10 years now.
Debian and family to be specific. Lately I've been getting into making
noises with 64 Studio, using CSound and Blue (I like electronic music).

I wrote something here about my job but it's incredibly boring so I
deleted it... something about middleware... I do get to code Python and
Perl sometimes which is great! But mostly I don't. I know a bit of web
stuff and a bit of database stuff too, with a fair bit of unix stuff.
See I couldn't stop myself.

I'm a bit annoyed I've arrived so late in the year of City of Culture
but I'm sure there's plenty going on, please let me know where I should
go or look! I might come along for the JACK talk on 3/12.

Cheers
