Not really, it's not even my idea!

But the basic mechanics of what is going on is leading to this sort of
thing. Give it five years and a Napster equivalent will be operating by this
store and forward principal using Bluetooth or some sort of Wifi mesh
network. There's nothing that can be done to stop it and the government is
too slow to realise what's happening.

That network is going to be impossible to regulate or control. It's going to
be ad hoc, even changing, unmanaged by anyone and always there. It's a
network of equal devices with routers replaced with people going about their
daily business.

It's going to make the early wild west days of the Internet look positively
tame.
