Hi

I bumped into someone with a Linux t-shirt on yesterday and we had a
chat about a problem I have with Ubuntu.

I cannot update or upgrade. I found this as a solution:

 sudo rm -vf /var/lib/apt/lists/*
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

but after running I return to the same message:

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure
-a' to correct the problem.

Ubuntu works fine but I would like to get this problem sorted out. I am
OK at best around software but am still easily confused.

Any help advice most welcome.
