FW: [Malvern] WiFi

Geoff, won't make any difference. The idea of wi-fi is to connect and go -
or it shouldn't!

Hmm, to turn Geoff's question around, if you have laptops running at the
different protocols due to the age of the wi-fi adaptor etc, will the access
point broadcast at both or just one protocol?

Ian

What are the WiFi parameters you guys encounter at the GMH ? Is it
IEEE802.11g ?

I ask because the Toshiba Tecra 9000 Laptop I have just bought has a
(switch-off-able)
WiFi capability.

I hope you all had a good trip to the Perlmongers.

Best regards,

Geoff.
