[SLUG] irc setup

Hi Folks,

I am feeling rather guilty that I am missing meetings for one reason or another so thought I would try and make the irc meetings. Problem is I haven't a clue how to go about it. I have a program called licq installed which I presume is a chat client but have used it. Can anyone tell me how to set it up and connect for the next meeting.
