Yeah, that's the point.  It's not worth it, friends.  Learn the word 
"pnpdump", that it interrogates ISA components that are PNP, and that it 
will pipe info about them to a file; that this file can be made into an 
isapnp.conf file; that isapnp can then use that file to set up ISA PNP 
components at boot time.  End of story - end of thread.
