That's an interesting idea. I'd be interested to know how much their 
licenses come in at - in fact it'd be interesting to know how much tax 
payer's money goes to MS - through gov't, schools, hospitals etc etc
etc.

In a couple of weeks time I'll be moving into North Yorkshire County
Councils Libraries HQ maybe I'll ask them when I get there? Or even hang
up such a poster?

Considering TCO (and even ROI) for a large organisation (above 15,000
like the council) for proprietary software/hardware/license etc it is
generally regarded to be higher using Open Source than proprietary. Can
anyone guess where/what the high costs of Open Source are?
