Yeah that all seems to match where I was at. Actually, I'm ashamed to
say, what had actually happened is I'd accidentally logged into my
catchall email account which held all those spam emails from yonks and
yonks where the spammer had used donkey at johnallsopp.co.uk and
pieface at johnallsopp.co.uk, etc.

I didn't think my email to this list would actually be let through (I
didn't think it would come from john@) so I didn't follow up on my
message.
