Hiya

2 questions.

1: Is there a command to tell me the largest file within a filesystem
hierarchy (from here downwards)?

2: So there I was scanning quite happily from The Gimp when I had a
bit of a hand twitch and maybe clicked something accidentally, and now
it won't scan from the Gimp any more.

The Gimp Acquire says it's XSane 0.95, it finds the scanner and brings
up the scanning options dialogue (which reads 300dpi, gamme 1.0,
brightness and contrast 0.0, and in the bottom left boxes 0*0*24 (0.0
B), and 0.00 cm x 5.26 cm.

When I click [scan], it says Error: Failed to start scanner, Invalid
argument.

Online someone said it was most likely the co-ordinates, but I can't
see where to adjust those.

I CAN still scan perfectly well from Open Office, but that requires me
to prescan, then scan, and then obviously transfer the image to the
Gimp so it's not as fast.

All the help seems to deal with why it won't work at all. Mine works,
just not from The Gimp, so before I start to really mess around with
it, I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

J
