I leave one machine on, my fileserver. This is because I very
frequently need to access data from my home system WRT work and other
stuff. However all my other machines are left powered off. I don't yet
have WoL set up because at the minute, I have no need to access other
machines at my flat outside of when I'm there. These machines even
have WoL specifically disabled so that they don't even use the standby
power of having the NIC waiting for a WoL packet.
