[SLUG] resizing jpegs

Thanks to Andy and to Ross for all their suggestions.  Have tried the 
command-line ImageMagick, brilliant!, and resized a largish batch just 
as a try-out.  Will need a Windows 7 GUI for my eventual end-user.

Thanks to Ross.  Have looked at the web-page you suggest.  Love the 
hierarchy of menus under the "Directory" option in the top menu-bar. 
I'll explore your other suggestions - the GIMP sounds a winner, too.
