I started messing around with Visual Basic 3 on Windows 3.1, and wasn't a huge
fan. Also have memories of QBasic on DOS.

I hate the syntax of BASIC-like like languages now, and taught myself C for a
while, which I wasn't a huge fun. I wanted to get involved in KDE so I taught
myself C++ and I'm doing quite a lot of C++/Qt. I also do HTML and PHP, I've
been quite enjoying messing around with the OO features in PHP recently.

I do a bit of bash scripting, bud t only if there's absolutely no other way to
do what I want. For example, yesterday I wrote a tiny script to create .m3u
files from my Ogg/Mp3s. I was proud of myself anyway :)
