You do learn a lot when things go wrong!!! I have now done a RPM -Va >/tmp/verify I have a large list of missing files!! What is the best way to re-install them? I have all the Mandrake RPM's in one directory on the machine.. I must be able to pass RPM the file and it will install the correct RPMs again?? Nearly there.. I hope...
