Hi

This is turning into a bit of a vim vs emacs debate (i.e. one without end)
:-). I think moving to puke (aka phpnuke) would be a good improvement for the
sclug website. In the worst case scenario, we would just dump exactly the
same content as is on the current site into puke and we would be no worse off
than we are now. In a better case scenario, occasional content would be
added. I am thinking here of little how-to's (e.g. the recent posting
describing how to set up debian as a firewall) and show-off stuff
(guitar-linux). I dont think the intention ever was to replace the mailing
list as the primary 'chat & help' medium, rather to a) look a little slicker
b) facilitate easier contribution of stuff to the sclug site by any sclugger
c) create a repository for useful documents generated by scluggers.

The addition of mailing list archives to the site would be useful for
searching for previous bits of advice and raising the profile of sclug
through google traffic etc.

In summary, I think it is a good idea for sclug to go puke :-)

Just my 2c
