[sclug] Cd boot puzzle

Hi all,

I've a PC with two IDE drives, one of which has Windows 2000 and the 
other of which lies waiting for Debian.

My win2k CD boot disk works fine.  My Debian CD boot disk works fine on 
other PCs.

But on this PC, the Debian disk will not work.  Neither will a 
SystemRescueCd I downloaded to test.

Could it be because the CD is a slave drive on the second ide drive?

Any thoughts anyone?
