[sclug] Maplin coming to Farnborough

All,

Good  news for everybody on this list who owns a
soldering iron.

My local free newspaper contains a Maplins
ad looking for staff for the new Farnborough outlet.
Based on the description I think they are moving into
the old B&Q building (which is large, although not
as large as the new B&Q building, it is a lot
bigger than the local PC-World).

Searching the Maplin web site gives the impression
that they have no physical outlets in this country.
I would guess an opening of Sep 1st????
