Hi,

FWIW I use Mandrake 10. I read Linux Complete cover to cover, RedHat
Linux Unleashed cover to cover, and dipped into several another tomes
from time to time. I also worked my way through much of Mandrake's
Campus on their website. After using Linux at home for nearly 2 years
now I still have only a vague clue what to do when things go wrong :-).
But stick at it, because it will all eventually become clear.

My only beef is trying to get applications that weren't expressly
packaged for my disto installed and working, and issues like RealPlayer
not working with Mozilla because they were compiled with different
versions of gcc (apparently). This is still IMHO where Linux trails
behind Windows. I'm really not too interested in spending summer
evenings compiling things on my machine to get them to work together - I
do enough of that at work for a living :-).
