[sclug] sclug Digest, Vol 84, Issue 8

Thanks all,

I actually simply wanted to copy the files to somewhere else and copy them
back to the replacement box (which uses the same sky card), so I could
actually watch them some time, but all the King's horses and men at Sky were
unable or unwilling to help.

I had no intention of depriving Rupert and his friends of their due earnings
(gosh knows they need it) - I just wanted to be able to watch stuff I was
about to watch when their equipment went wrong.

But the box has been replaced now so the pressure's off, but for
future-proofing I would dearly love to know how to do it.

Thanks for all the advice, to no avail I'm afraid. ;-(

Neil.
