Wireless Term: AP / WAP (Access Point / Wireless Access Point)

802.11{b|g} is inherently shared carrier, so there's no equivalent of a
switch as such.

I use a linksys WAP11, which is 802.11b. There is now an 802.11g version
avaialable... Linksys has proved to be pretty damn solid.
