[Sussex] Proper plug & play

Recently my computer failed.
I just took it's hard disk (with some trepidation) and put it in another 
machine.
The first was a Via Gigapro machine.
The second an AMD Duron machine.
It just worked without so much as a glitch.

What a contrast to the situation with MS where one has to do:-

1/ full restore (using MS install disk)
2/ re-enable  license with MS India (on 0800 number)
3/ it will have taken 3 hours, at least, before all the drivers are 
completely resolved and it is working properly and,
4/ don't forget the time to do scans for all the nasties.
