Yes, I look on all the Local Authority sites (and other Public bodies).  
They all have full job descriptions on-line so you can see if you are 
suited before you go to any trouble applying - some are very particular 
about essential skills.  I've been looking today at job specs so when I go 
and sign on tomorrow I can tell the chap in the Jobcentre exactly why 
I'm not applying for a job they have on their books.  Keeps my pittance 
of a Job Seekers Allowance coming in.

BTW - anyone know of any good jobs...
