It takes no longer from servers that reguarly send you mail (ie the WLUG 
   mailing list server). For servers that only occasionally send mail 
there is a 20 min delay. Of course as we are a ISP we have a *LOT* of 
known ok servers in our database so the impact is lessened.

We use postfix
