Ok sounds like a plan - I'll give it a shot
> do you use linux much or are you lookingg to start with it ?
I've been a Linux user since the late 90's. I started in the forces
where we had a RH 5.2 laptop we used as a terminal to a Unix mid range
machine. Out of the forces I then used (in rough order) RH 5.2/6.0/6.1,
Mandrake 6.1 thru 10.1 and now Ubuntu 5.10 - 6.10. Played with lots of
other bits and pieces (Debian, Coral, DSL, Knoppix, Smoothwall, IPCop)
along the way. I have totally MS free network at home now - except my
laptop from work which has a corporate MS XP build on it.
I've recently however, started to get a lot more interested and
motivated in the community aspect of Linux/Free Software, hence my
looking at the local LUG lists.
Regards
Stuart
