Welcome to the Herefordshire LUG mailing list. We shall be pleased to have you with us. We provide a County wide group for those interested in Linux and Open Source software, the various Linux distributions and the opportunities offered by the Free Software Foundation. Please visit our web site at http://www.herefordshire.lug.org.uk When posting please use Plain text only. All non plain text attachments will be stripped from the email (this include HTML). Only post to the list from the email address you used when you subscribed. If you have a forwarding arrangement and intend to post from a separate address, please subscribe this address to the list as well and use the 'no mail' option to avoid getting two copies. Messages from unsubscribed addresses have to be manually approved (to stop spam). Messages are reviewed before being discarded, but don't expect it to happen quickly. :-) Note that the mailing list archives are publicly readable. Do not post information that you wish to remain private and do not post email that contain disclaimers that contain text restricting how the email can be viewed (i.e. this is strictly for the addressee only), this cannot be adhered to. Subscribing to Herefordshire
Subscribe to Herefordshire by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
