Can confirm the EPIA-M will be shipping with MPEG-2 decoder within the CL266
chipset, together with AGP based VIA Castlerock graphics chipset, a vast
improvement from the PCI based Trident that the EPIA had (if you were aiming
the EPIA at more graphic intense tasks).
On top of these, the EPIA-M sports two UltraDMA 133/100/66 IDE channels,
brings back support for a FDD, has 6-channel VT1616 AC97 codec onboard, USB2
support, FireWire support, improved TV out support, and faster memory
support, namely DDR266 upto 1Gb. Also has a number of monitoring
capabilities such as CPU temperature and voltage.
So certainly exciting times waiting for its arrival on the UK market.
