If anyone has the time to note down their use of toolbar buttons when
browsing, here's a good chance to contribute a little towards usability
decision making in KDE...

hi...

(CC'ing kfm-devel mostly so they know what i'm up to, besides the usual no
good ;)

here's a chance for everyone on the usability list to get involved and
provide some useful data that will likely end up influencing what happens to
 konqi's toolbars =)

please send to me via *private email*[1] which buttons in the konqi toolbars
you use when web browsing. please break it out into four lists:

Used Hourly
Used Daily
Used Weekly
Less than Weekly

if you only surf the web for one hour a day (or less), then have "Daily" mean
"Every few days" ... similarly if you only surf one day a week, etc...

best would be if you could record your actual usage for a time period (a week
would be good). feel free to collect data from as many people as possible.
i'll then compile the data in a spread sheet and publish the results in a few
weeks time.

please feel free to use other browsers when testing if Konqueror is not an
option due to not being available, but annotate the data to reflect this when
you do so. this means you can test people on IE in a Windows-only
environment, which is likely to be a common situation. if you do test on
browsers other than Konqueror than have many fewer toolbar buttons, please
discover how often they use items such as print from the menus.

[1] no need to pollute the lists with this ...
