Hi Guy's and Girl's

Elizabeth is bringing a youngster to the LUG on Saturday he's into 
computers and she has been showing him stuff that they don't teach in 
ITC classes.

Mike would you be able to give him a lesson on the Pi and show him a 
couple of different distro's running on it and what he could do with one 
if he had one. I'll bring my Pi and the kit along as well and DD a 
couple of images.

Anyone else have any idea of what a 12 year old might find interesting 
it would be good to keep him enthused for all things tech, as he is the 
IT future. Maybe putting an old PC back together and installing an OS is 
something we could do at some point?

Hi Tony

Just a quickie - this Mint is fantastic!  Thank you soooo much for
putting it on for me.

Kieran (the 12 year old I told you about) had a fit of nerves, but seems 
to have recovered and has just assured me that he is definitely coming 
with me to the Club on Saturday.  You asked me to let you know so that 
something could be arranged for him ~ ? a Blackberry Pie or something? 
Or is it Pi lol!
