[Blackpool] Failed Updates on Mint Mate laptop help please

I'd try this in a terminal

sudo apt-get update

then

sudo apt-get upgrade --fix-missing

That should update the list of repositories, then upgrade all the software
on the machine and force any missing packages to upgrade.

Any issue, bring along tomorrow and we will take a look at it.
