[Blackpool] More about Saturdays failed meeting

Hi folks -

As Les said in his reply, there has obviously been a breakdown in
communications when people turn up but there is no meeting to attend.

It is not the first time it has happened, and it may not be the last.
That will depend on how effective we become at organising meetings.

I forgot to mention in my previous reply, and it obviously did not help
anyway (more poor communications?)

BUT, because we have had 'hiccups' like this before, I put an automated
system in at the end of last year, where you can see when I am open by
looking here:-

https://twitter.com/MakerspaceFY1

as most of you will know, I turn up at about 9-30 to get the room ready to
start at 10. The tweet goes out automatically when I turn the lights on.

Obviously does not help if you plan on setting off earlier than that, but
if you are ever unclear about if a meeting is going to happen, it might be
worth delaying setting off until you see the 'open' tweet.

The debate on how best to organise meetings has been ongoing for a while,
and suggestions on how we can improve things are always welcome.

Once again, I apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Best regards,
Mike Hewitt
