Hi All
To add to the earlier email, i am using Ubuntu 8.04.

I have plugged the device into my USB port, and nothing has popped up etc
which would make me think that it has been detected.

So far i have tried running files directly from the install CD, but nothing
happens. I think i am still applying the windows approach, i.e. open the
folder and double click the autorun.exe., .inf .whatever else i see :)

I was actually hoping that it would appear on my desktop with a 'new
hardware has been found' etc. but alas nothing.

All my Google attempts at an answer keeps bringing me back with results on
how to install Linux, not a device.

Thanks all

Paddy
