[Bradford] More (old) hardware...

Ok - so I've now got 2 Compaq armada e500's, that Toshiba portage, and
an old iMac - (15" iMac G4/700 MHz - I think)

Each has their own little quirks, but basically all work using various
types of linux. They are all low on RAM, so 'heavier' desktops are a bit
slow (e.g. XFCE is faster than GNOME)

My guess is that they are all pretty power hungry as well, and sort of
noisy - so I thought about using the mac as an audio machine, but it
whirs away a bit.

So I'm looking for inspiration for things to do with them. I saw a nice
hack where someone had turned their laptop screen inside out, placed the
whole thing on a stand and attached a keyboard to have a 'space saving'
desktop machine...but lots of soldering!

There's always Dick's photo frame idea...

Any ideas?

Cheers
David
Happy New Year to the list!
