Hi...

All being well, see you next weekend... in the meantime....

We're looking for a news and feature writer to work with us at
The H at h-online.com. We're all about open source and security and
are part of heise Media, who publish some of Germany's best known
and respected titles on computing – c't and Ix magazines – as well as
running heise.de, Germany's own Slashdotting machine (cite
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinz_Heise).

You should be...

       Enthusiastic about open source
Know the difference between GPL and BSD
Be familiar with the current trends
Want to present balanced, high signal, low noise information

You'll need to be prepared to

Work full-time in our Wimbledon office with the rest of the team
Write news on open source (and security)
       Write features on open source
Handle translated copy from our associates in Germany
Interact with our German associates at heise
Prepare and proof features from freelancers
Visit some events on behalf of The H

Ideally you'll

Know a bit of German to read or speak
(But don't worry if you don't)

We'll

Help you build up your writing skills
       Help build up your expertise
Encourage you to create new content
       Pay you a salary

So, if you are interested, drop me a line at djwm at h-online.com and we
can talk in more detail.
