I was just about to post something to the list about this...

I've exchanging emails with RMS, hoping to make something happen at
the National Media Museum. Still at a very early stage.

AIUI (from conversations after TEDxBradford[1]) next year the Museum
plans a major programme focussing on the internet, technology and new
media. Plus outreach work based on Open Source. Been very quiet for a
month or two so I didn't want to bring it to the group until I have
more firm details.

It would be great to see about other local venues either if the NMM
falls through - or to pack more into a bigger programme. Anyone have
contacts in the University?

AIUI Shipley Collage is pushing software apprenticeships, and has some
large space. Anyone have contacts there?

Any other ideas?

Robert
